MDI-Host, as one of the tools of the PRODIS production system, consists of a compact test computer for displaying and controlling test tasks and a mobile diagnostic interface integrated to run test sequences. It also evaluates test results and handles data transfer to and from middleware and database servers.
Not all test locations require portable, compact devices. For fixed installations such as test benchers there are advantages on running the PRODIS.RTS software on an Industrial PC. The MDI-Host is guaranteed to work as part of the PRODIS Production System.
